Did You Know?
Scrapbooking practice is extremely old and the oldest known practice can be traced back to as early as the 15th Century. Proof of scrapbooking is available from England, where it can be found in the form of commonplace books and friendship albums.
Back then people used to note down poems and letters, and even recipes and quotes, in the commonplace books. The friendship albums were used when someone would invite guests to their home. The guests would be asked to leave a thought or quote, or might make a sketch, or at least leave a signature, in the friendship album.
Even today scrapbooks are a great way to store memories in the form of pictures and writings. And, it’s surely going to stay for a long time.
